DISENFECTING WIPES: I always have these with me, all you have to do is ask. I hesitate to put them out front because it looks tacky. Sometimes I take it upon myself to offer one when I see the mic being eaten by a singer before you. Why do they do that? It is so nasty. It really grosses me out. I think they watch the rock stars on MTV. Monkey see Monkey do…anyway it’s not cool….
4th OF JULY: We walked up the street to Lake Murray. I’ve lived here for 15 yrs and have never walked up there. I don’t know much about Lake Murray. The place we wanted to be was actually wayyyyyyyy on the other side of the lake. I didn’t even know that side was part of Lake Murray. We had to walk for 45 minutes to get there but we still enjoyed it. Rockola was playing, they are hot….I am a fan now. And then the fireworks, they were so neat and we were so close and could see the men running around lighting them up. We had to actually tip our heads way back and look up….I was concerned about getting ash in my eyes or getting hit by the sparks….It was exciting. Never even had to put our jackets on, we worked up a sweat just walking.
We’ll probably walk there again soon, just for the walk…..It’s not as bad as I had thought it would be.
I sure missed doing the our Karaoke Show…. and am really looking forward to this week-end….
