These ten commandments of karaoke are wonderful! I am so glad that this is posted, it’s so hard to sing with loud conversations going on. I wish these were posted in every karaoke show!!

It’s really common sense and common courtesy…unfortunately a lot of people don’t have common sense. The #9 “Loud conversations” is the one that is broken every night. So rude…..I could mention names but I won’t…..:o( Do they do that on purpose?

I really don’t think they do it on purpose, maybe they are just talkative and they raise their voices to be heard over the music and don’t realize the singer can hear them lol. Maybe they need to be reminded every now and then to not be so loud, I know I need to be reminded and I have a loud voice!
Your karaoke show has a lot of professionalism and is very classy, I really have fun when I go to your shows. You show is one of the best for so many reasons, I really love it.

I try to run the Show as a “SHOW” not just a bunch of people trying to sing anything. I try to pace the show and that’s why some times I have to change the lineup. There are some people that come in just for the show. And when I have good songs and good singers I am one proud puppy! I guess that comes from being in shows myself, I want to keep it enjoyable and fast paced, with no down spots or boring spots. Boring spots are when someone, that can’t sing well, picks a 5 minute ballad. That’s why I like it when they give me a choice of songs for them to do. Once I know a singer, I know what they are capable of.

Sabrina;
How do you get that little face after your name???

And it is a “show”, I like it, like I said it’s very classy and I really do feel like I am in a show, some of these singers are so good at the songs they do, I am amazed.
I get the little smiley face by typing the keys ” : ” and ” ) ” next to each other, no spaces in between them and the face popped up!
